However, our activities extend far beyond developing our own original luxury collections. We are a reliable and globally recognized supplier of top-quality certified down and feathers, delivered as ready-to-use fillings. This noble raw material performs perfectly not only in duvets and pillows, but also as an outstanding natural thermal insulator in advanced outdoor apparel (such as jackets) and specialized expedition sleeping bags. The timeline below presents the journey that has taken our company from a small post-war workshop to a modern joint-stock company operating on international markets.
At the initiative of Kazimierz Deręgowski, a small Feather and Down Processing Plant is established on Kilińskiego Street in Swarzędz. The first team of 15 employees focuses on sourcing raw materials from local farms.
Launch of mechanized raw material processing. In its first year of production, the plant achieves a historic success, exporting over 20 tons of feathers of unprecedented purity to international markets.
Establishment of technologically advanced and highly skilled departments: Feather Ornamentation and Feather Sorting. Hand-selected feathers become a highly sought-after commodity in European haberdashery markets.
Organizational transformation: the plant becomes financially independent as a standalone Feather Processing Enterprise under the Central Poultry and Egg Industry Board.
Investment in quality: creation of an in-house research laboratory, marking the beginning of an engineering-based, comprehensive approach to standardizing natural raw material processing.
Major investment phase: construction of new production and warehouse facilities and the launch of finished luxury bedding production – the first duvets and pillows leave the factory.
